What about positive psychology would you like to know? In short, positive psychology is a branch, or trunk rather, of psychology that studies what makes life worth living. But the truth is that it is a lot more than that. It is also the study of optimal human functioning. Furthermore, it includes the study of virtues and values and character strengths. Positive psychology even focuses on behaviours that allow individuals to build a life of meaning and purpose—to move beyond surviving to thriving & flourishing.

What is Positive Psychology?

Positive psychology is now an essential focus that we each must self regulate in this post pandemic world. No longer can mental and emotional health be muted. If the pandemic has taught us anything it is to never take our health for granted. That includes physical health, mental health, emotional health, and spiritual health.

Positive psychology is the scientific study and application of the healthy processing of "negative" experiences (thoughts, feeling, behaviours) while intentionally focusing on nurturing the "positive" experiences (thoughts, feeling, behaviours), vis-à-vis, our mental and emotional, subjective life experiences.
